Manny Pacquiao’s Eldest Son Jimuel Wins 2nd Boxing Match in California
MANNY PACQUIAO – Philippine boxer-turned-politician Manny Pacquiao’s 21-year-old son Jimuel Pacquiao won 2nd amateur boxing match in California.
Manny Pacquiao is widely regarded as one of the greatest pound-for-pound fighters. He has been named to the top 10 of The Ring Magazine’s all-time top 100 boxers list. He has captured 14 world titles in 8 weight classes including three Ring Magazine championships.
Last September, Pacman officially announced his retirement from boxing. Just less than a year after he hung up his gloves, another Pacquiao stepped in the ring.
Manny Pacquiao’s eldest son Emmanuel “Jimuel” Pacquiao Jr. showed that he too has the skill after winning his first amateur fight in the US last March. He won his first amateur fight against Mexican-American Andres Rosales.
The young Pacquiao flew to the US in the middle of last year to watch Pacman’s fight against Cuban boxer Yordenis Ugas in Las Vegas. After the fight, Jimuel opted to stay in the US to pursue his amateur boxing career.
