DJ Durano gets asked about the recent issue with Pokwang
Actor DJ Durano shared that he and Kapuso comedienne Pokwang have already talked after their “patutsadahan” they had against each other on social media.
This issue started when Kapuso director Rado Peru shared the tweet of Pokwang about online trolls. Direk Rado said that the comedienne shout would and see because “trolls” will vote on May 9 who they want to win.
In that Facebook post of the director, DJ commented. He said that Pokwang is “feeling sikat”. With this, the former Kapamilya star fired back at the actor and director.
She said that DJ Durano was just a “sabit” in movies directed by the late Wenn Deramas. Pokwang accused the actor of being angry if he was not included in Direk Wenn’s movies back then.
Based on the article in PEP, DJ was asked about this issue. At first, he just responded with “no comment” but continued with, “No worries. Nag-usap na kami.”
When asked if Pokwang deleted her post after their phone conversation, the actor answered, “It doesn’t matter. Lalaki naman ako. Walang mawawala. Hehehe!”
DJ also said that there’s nothing more he would like to say to Pokwang as he understands that situations can be intense during election season.
“Elections is temporary. Keep your friends. It’s just a misunderstanding. Wala yun, maliit lang ang industry. Hahaha!” DJ Durano said.
Although the actor did not directly said the name of the politician he is endorsing, it is quite obvious that he is not supporting the candidate that Pokwang supports. The Kapuso comedienne has been active these past few days in joining the campaign rallies of Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Kiko Pangilinan.
Reportedly, during a hosting stint for Binibining Mateo in San Mateo, Isabella, he took notice of a candidate’s red gown. The candidate said that her favourite colour is red after DJ asked and the actor replied, “Ako din, red. Ayoko ng pink… Ayoko ng lugaw. Hindi ako kumakain ng lugaw.”
