The Vivo X Fold was officially announced on April 11, 2022. The 5G-ready smartphone is powered by a 4600 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable) + fast charging 66W + fast wireless charging 50W + reverse wireless charging 10W. It is available in two colors: Blue and Black.
Body & Display:
The dimension of the device is: Folded: 162 x 74.5 x 14.6 mm Unfolded: 162 x 144.9 x 6.3 mm. It weighs 311 grams. It comes in an 8.03 inches screen size and the display is a Foldable LTPO AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that provides 1916 x 2160 pixels resolution.
Platform:
X Fold is powered by the Qualcomm SM8450 Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (4 nm) Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Adreno 730. It runs on the Android 12 + Origin OS Ocean operating system. It is packed with 12GB of RAM while the internal storage has 256GB and 512GB options.
Main Camera:
The Vivo X Fold is integrated with a quad-camera on the rear side: 50-megapixel (wide) + 8-megapixel (periscope telephoto) + 12-megapixel (telephoto) and 48-megapixel (ultrawide). It features Zeiss optics, Zeiss T* lens coating, Dual-LED flash, and panorama.
Selfie Camera:
The smartphone has a tiny punch-hole screen that houses a 16-megapixel (wide) camera. It also features HDR.
Sensors on the phone include fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and barometer. It also features GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, QZSS, NavIC, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB Type-C, and USB On-The-Go (OTG).
