Robie Asingua, the wife of Pia Wurtzbach’s late father challenged her to show proof that she asked money from her.
Earlier, she went to the social networking site Facebook wherein she slammed Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach anew over the latter’s portrayal of her life story in the drama anthology, Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK).
Here’s her Facebook post:
“FYI: Hindi at Hindi ako humingi ng pera sayo Pia at alam mo yan, sinungaling ka lang talaga…Sige ilabas mo ebidensya mo na nanghingi ako Sayo…”
The issue between them first erupted when Pia Wurtzbach was lambasted by Robie Asingua, former wife of her father and Alexander Wurtzbach, her half-brother, for allegedly telling lies about her MMK lifestory.
According to Robie, she and Pia’s father never asked money from her.
Alexander Wurtzbach, on the other hand, lambasted Pia Wurtzbach for “discrediting” their late father. He even told Pia not to use his father’s surname.
The issue even caught the attention of Pia’s younger sister, Sarah Wurtzbach, who’s currently in the United Kingdom.
In a Facebook comment on the post of their half-brother, she warned him that she would rummage in the conversation of her mom and Alexander’s mother, Robie Asingua if he won’t stop.
“Baka gusto mong kalkalin ko yung mga message nyo ng nanay mo sa amin. Baka mapahiya ka. [peace emoji] tigil na kasi, ayan na fame oh! EMBRACE IT!”
The issue also gained the attention of Chief Content Officer of ABS-CBN Corporation and Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) host Charo Santos-Concio.

Robie Asingua just posted a conversation on messenger between her and a friend of Uwe Wurtzbach on her facebook account. The conversation showed that she and Uwe got together just months after Uwe and Pia Wurtzbach’s mother separated and not seven years after as Robie Asingua claimed. Second, the friend also confirmed that Uwe dis ask for money from Pia but Pia said she didn’t give him money because she wasn’t earning anything at the time. Third, in the conversation Robie Asingua revealed that SHE DID ASK FOR MONEY FROM PIA THROUGH ANOTHER PERSON ALTHOUGH THIS HAPPENED AFTER UWE’S DEATH.
Frankly, I don’t know why she’s making so much noise. There was nothing wrong with being portrayed as the caring partner who simply asked for financial help for Uwe from his daughter. What’s wrong with that? Did she feel she was being belittled and disrespected for being shown to be poor? Or is it because she was shown to be a mistress? Or is it because she believes she was depicted as a maid on the story? I don’t know why she would claim that was her because different women portrayed the maid character and the mistress character Uwe cohabited with just before he died. Obviously, the story showed that the man was a womanizer and had different mistresses during different periods in his life.
Most likely, the MMK took artistic license and made some changes to the life story for drama and brevity. Robie Asingua and her son naturally feel offended by that because it exposed them as the illegitimate family. They just made things worse, however, by washing their dirty linens in public.
