Alodia Gosiengfiao to Venture into Music Industry

The Filipina actress and cosplay star Alodia Gosiengfiao will venture into music industry as she signed a deal with 12 Stone Records as one of their contract artist on Thursday June 26, 2014.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Alodia Gosiengfiao dubbed in the country as “Cosplay Queen” said that she is very excited on her first singing project and she was also very happy to announce that fans will expect an anime and cosplay-inspired in her music.

“Siyempre, malaking pasabog po! It’s a new thing for me, and I think it’s also a new thing na magkaroon ng cosplay-ish na music and production. So tingnan po natin kung ano ang mangyayari. I’m excited!” she said.

Alodia Gosiengfiao said that her inspiration in music is the singer-songwriters Kitchie Nadal and Barbie Almabis. She also mentioned Japan’s model and singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and including the American international superstar Katy Perry.

Alodia Gosiengfiao came to prominence after joining several cosplay competitions in the country and even abroad. She started cosplaying at the age of 15 and she started judging in the competitions at the age of 18.

She was also recognized in different countries especially Japan because of her contributions to cosplay and anime world. Due to her achievements, she was contracted by to endorse various products in the country and abroad appearing in several TV networks.

Alodia Gosiengfiao co-hosted also Luis Manzano in ABS-CBN’s prank show “Laugh Out Loud”. She was also recognized by UNO magazine as one of the most influential women in the country.
