The latest installment of the John Lloyd and Sarah Geronimo movie, “It Takes A Man And A Woman” surpassed the second highest-grossing Pinoy Films, “Private Benjamin,” after the movie earned P345 Million.
The announcement was made through Star Cinema’s PR executive Roxy Liquigan. The Laida Magtalas and Miggy Montenegro romantic-comedy movie is now officially the second-highest grossing Filipino film of all time.
At around 5:00 PM on Wednesday, April 17, the movies earning surpassed the Praybeyt Benjamin box office earnings. It is now considered as the non-MMFF highest grossing Pinoy films of all time.
The movie which is jointly produced by Stat Cinema and Viva Films has beaten the record set by “The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin” which earned P331 million during its theatrical run in 2011.
The highest-grossing Pinoy movie of all time, “Sisterakas” earned P391 million during its run in cinemas. The John Lloyd and Sarah G. movie is eyeing for the top spot to dethrone Sisterakas.
