Eighty-four were killed in Norway’s shooting incident

Who would ever thought that the gathering of hundreds of young people in Utoeya Island, Norway would served as the last event for many of them to attend before their lives and dreams were taken violently.

At least eighty four (84) people were killed after the shooting incident in Norway.

The said shooting incident took place in an island wherein youth camp was being held. So far, this mentioned killing was being considered to be one of the deadliest in the world.

Police are still searching the crime scene especially the water and are expecting that the number of casualties may rise.

Currently, a Norwegian man was being arrested and interrogated regarding to the attack that had transpired on Friday. The said man at 32 was captured in Utoeya Island, the place where the youth camp had took place as he opened fire to the campers who were teenagers.

The shooting incident took place hours after the blast that happened in Oslo which had killed seven people.

Stories from the survivors and witnesses of the shooting in the island tells that the man had portrayed as a policeman who allegedly declared that he came to do further investigation about the bombing held in Oslo. He then called the attention of the attendees as they gathered together but to their surprised, the man opened fire towards them. In order to survive and to escape, some chose to run towards the woods and bushes while others immediately jump to the water. However, the man continues to throw off bullets trying to hunt those in the water causing death to 84 young people.

The youth camp, as reported via bbc.com was attended by hundreds of young people. The said summer camp was spearheaded by Labour Party.

According to report, the gunman had brought handgun, automatic weapon and shotgun which he had used in order to cause death to the teens.

The violence happening in Norway thess past days especially in Oslo had brought worries and alarm to people.

To ensure the citizens safety, government officials had requested the people to avoid going to the central part of the city and it would be better if they stayed at home.

Explosion on Friday had left damages to properties and infrastructures. It devastated the structures and buildings as shards of metals and gl(–foul word(s) removed–) are visible in the targeted area.
