
The veteran TV writer/creator Sherwood Schwartz dies at the age of 94. He died due to natural causes while having his sleep on July 12, 2011.Schwartz was most remembered as the creator of the two famous TV series during 1960s and 1970s, the “Gilligan’s Island” and “The Brady Bunch”.
“Gilligan’s Island” was about the stranded p(–foul word(s) removed–)engers because their ship was brought wrecked by the storm. It was a comedy but full of adventure TV series that time. “The Brady Bunch” was also a humorous misadventure of a large family all happened when two widowed get married. Just think how wild that was. Sounds great isn’t it? Well folks, these are just two among many more series created by the great Sherwood Schwartz that is worth remembering now by most of our adults who were able to watch it decades ago.
His creations were really the image of his personality. Most people that know Schwartz would surely say that he was a man of laughs. He was simple but can really knock the humorous side of the audience. He delivers not only a simple joke but he can bring an endless joy to everyone that surrounds him and to the audience of his series.
He was an active fellow until in his age of 90. On March 7, 2008, the old man Schwartz received an honor with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The man was really a contribution to entertainment industry. And now that he left, his family, friends and the people that know him as the man behind those great acts of joy and inspiration will remember him forever.
