Bagyong Seniang Makes Third Landfall over Cebu (December 30 Signals)

The country’s weather bureau PAGASA noted that the Tropical Storm Seniang (Bagyong Seniang) made its third landfall early Tuesday, December 30, 2014, over Cebu Province. The typhoon was in the vicinity of Sibunga, Cebu as of 4:45 AM today. As of 8:00 AM, Bagyong Seniang was spotted based on all available surface data at the vicinity of La Libertad, Negros Occidental.

Bagyong Seniang packed maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph. The typhoon was already spotted at 75 km Southeast of Iloilo City and forecast to move West at 11 kph.

PAGASA noted that Bagyong Seniang made its first landfall over Hinatuan in Surigao del Sur before dawn on Monday, December 29, 2014 and its second landfall was recorded over Anda, Bohol on Monday night.

The weather disturbance is expected to be at 210 km East of Puerto Princesa City on Wednesday morning while on Thursday morning, January 1, 2015 it is forecast to be at 170 km Southwest of Puerto Princesa City. By Friday morning PAGASA forecast that Bagyong Seniang will be at 530 km Southwest of Puerto Princesa City.
