One of the heartthrobs in the Philippine showbiz industry is actor Piolo Pascual. He is one of those who are in the industry for decades already but he does not seem to age.
Piolo Pascual’s Personal Background
Born on January 12, 1977 in Malate, Manila, Piolo Pascual’s real name is Piolo Jose Nonato Pascual. His parents are the late casting diretor Philip Victoriano Pascual and Amelia Nonato Pascial. He is the youngest among six siblings. The actor’s siblings are Chique, Paulette, Pam, Choi, and Patricia and he is close to all of them. He spengt his elementary and high school years at St. Francis School in Santa Ana where he joined a theater group.
Piolo Pascual’s age now is 44 years old but it is not evident on his handsome face. He has a son, Inigo Pascual, who also joined showbiz as an actor and singer.
Piolo Pascual’s Showbiz Career
When he was in third year high school, Piolo became part of the popular teen variety show That’s Entertainment. However, he eventually left the program for his studies. He took AB General Education at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) but he shifted to Physical Therapy as he prepared for his immigration to the United States. In 1996, he placed his career and studies on hold when he migrated to U.S.
Piolo Pascual’s age was 21 years old when he decided to return to the Philippines and pursue his showbiz career. He got several offers including the award-winning film Dekada ’70. He was a talent of the ABS-CBN Network for several years and his loveteam with Judy Anne Santos was a hit. It was just a few months ago when he accepted to do a project offer of TV5.
Meanwhile, although he is in the Kapatid network now, Piolo visibly maintains a good ties with the Kapamilya network. His excitement when it comes to his former home network has always been visible.
