3 Individuals for Selling Large Tract of Land “Not Their Own” Arrested by NBI
The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) arrested three (3) individuals for allegedly selling a large tract of land even they did not own.
The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) arrested three people in Tanay, Rizal, who allegedly pretended to be owners of a large plot of land that they allegedly sold to buyers. According to a Manila Bulletin post, the said lot was sold for P350 to P500 per square meter.
Wilson Vaflor Dadula, Rommel Amandoron Dadula, and Mario Ordona Ruanto were arrested, according to NBI Officer-in-Charge Director Eric B. Distor. The heirs and legitimate owners of the property filed a complaint against the three perpetrators.
The complainants presented a Transfer Certificate of Title (TCT) to prove their possession, according to the report. Wilson was employed as the land’s caretaker by the heirs’ father in 2000.

The complainants told the NBI that their father had filed a complaint in 2015 to have Wilson removed from his role as caretaker. They said that the barangay had given a certificate authorizing them to take Wilson to court.
When their father died, the complainants said they tried to have Wilson removed as caretaker, but nothing happened. They later learned that their property had already been occupied by about 90 families and that the remaining land was being sold through an organization named “Alpha Omega World Development Marshall Program.”
They also revealed that the organization charged a P2,500 membership fee and that all members could buy a lot ranging from 100 to 300 square meters for P350 to P500 per square meter. The complainants claimed that after payment, a buyer-member would receive a “Certificate of Occupancy” allowing them to possess and occupy portions of the landholdings.
The NBI said its Rizal District Office (RIZDO) agents operated undercover and were able to reach an agreement with the suspects to purchase 100 square meters of property. An entrapment operation was set up after Wilson was given a P50,000 down payment. According to the NBI, the three suspects were apprehended after the alleged balance for the land was paid.
