Lani Misalucha Reveals the One Thing She Regretted During BINI’s Las Vegas Concert
LANI MISALUCHA – BINI’s Las Vegas performance became even more memorable after OPM icon Lani Misalucha showed up to support the young Filipina stars.
Lani Misalucha added an extra touch of pride and excitement to BINI’s Las Vegas concert as she watched the Nation’s Girl Group perform during the third stop of their “Signals” world tour in North America.
Known as Asia’s Nightingale, Lani personally attended the Las Vegas leg of BINI’s international tour and witnessed the group’s growing popularity among Filipino and international audiences. The OPM icon was visibly thrilled throughout the show, cheering, clapping, and enjoying the performances alongside fellow concertgoers.
The moment became even more special toward the end of the concert when BINI, led by Jhoanna, acknowledged and thanked Lani from the stage. The veteran singer responded with excitement as she joined the audience in cheering for the young performers.
BINI also sang portions of Lani’s well-loved hit song “Bukas na Lang Kita Mamahalin,” which immediately drew applause and cheers from the crowd. For Lani, seeing the audience embrace BINI’s music was a memorable experience, particularly because many non-Filipino fans were also singing and dancing along to the group’s songs.
“I was so ecstatic. Nakakatuwa na para na sila talagang nasa international stage.
“And seeing our kababayans supporting them and sabi ko nga, hindi lang mga Pilipino yung nanonood and everybody seems to be enjoying it, every minute of it yung mga tao were cheering for them,” Lani’s statement in an ABS-CBN interview.
Lani further expressed how proud she was of BINI and emphasized the significance of performing on a major Las Vegas stage.
“I am so proud, and the whole time I was beaming with smile and just really proud on the stage.
“And mind you, this stage was also used by Britney Spears and JLo (Jennifer Lopez) lang naman. This is really something else!” she said.
However, there was one funny moment that Lani admitted was slightly frustrating. Despite holding her phone throughout much of the concert to capture photos and videos, she failed to record the exact moment when BINI acknowledged her.
“Ang cute nga, nakakainis lang. So yun nga I was holding my phone the whole time taking some videos and pictures and nung time na kumanta na sila, and acknowledged me, di ko naman na ano yung phone ko.
“But that’s okay, basta nakita ko sila nagperform at nakisayaw, so I’m so happy. I am extremely proud of these beautiful young ladies,” the iconic singer said.
Despite missing the opportunity to capture the special acknowledgment on video, Lani said she was simply happy to witness BINI’s performance firsthand. Her presence in Las Vegas served as another meaningful show of support from one of the Philippines’ most respected singers for the younger generation of Filipino artists making their mark on the international stage.
