Heart Evangelista had a clarification about her viral statement
Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista clarified her previous statement that she has no friends.
That viral statement that Heart had was during an episode of her game show The People Have Spoken. The question was, “Which is sadder—having no friends or having no money?”
The Kapuso star answered that she would rather have money since she has no friends.

“Konti lang mga kaibigan ko, ‘yung mga kaibigan ko, ayan kayo, Iya (Villania), Camille Prats, si Ms. Kris (Bernal), oh ganyan. Tapos hindi pa tayo nagkikita-kita. E ‘di mas gusto ko, may pera ako,” she jokingly added at that time. This garnered negative reactions on social media.
In a recent episode of the Kapuso afternoon talk show Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, the King of Talk shared that his team was able to have a conversation with Heart Evangelista.
In that conversation, it was said that the global fashion icon retracted her previous statement on her show.
“Ibig sabihin ko-if I can explain- I’d rather have a handful of friends than an army of acquaintances. Kapag sinabi mo kasing friends, parang friends lang. Iba ‘yung parang tinrato mong pamilya,” she said.
Heart clarified that she would rather have her family and her real friends than a lot of money. “Pero kung sabay, okay din,” she added.

Tito Boy said that he understands Heart’s opinion. The veteran host pointed out that sometimes this is done like a joke or wanting to be funny when asked to choose between money and friends.
“But it’s nice to have both. You can work hard for the money, and then you work hard at friendships. Importante ‘yan,” Boy Abunda said.
Early this month, Heart Evangelista also went viral because of her statement. She admitted that her “bisyo” or vice is shopping. This came from a question on her show about choosing between “asawang maraming bisyo pero masipag, o walang bisyo pero tamad.”
For Heart, there is no excuse for being “tamad” because she is working hard to buy the things she wants.
