Ivana Alawi has a recent social media milestone
Kapamilya actress-vlogger Ivana Alawi has reached a milestone after her controversial iPhone giveaway content.
Just recently, Ivana shared a video on her Facebook page telling the public that she would be giving away 100 iPhone 17 units.
The actress said those who wanted the chance to win should follow her social media page, share that specific content, and comment the color of the phone that they want.
Her social media page caught the attention of the online community as many netizens wanted to avail of the free iPhone. However, some netizens criticized her for allegedly promoting gambling because in the comment section of her post, Ivana told her followers to also follow the social media page of Casino Plus.
Despite the backlash, Ivana Alawi gained more followers. Currently, she now has 50 million Facebook followers. Before her controversial iPhone giveaway content, she had 47 million followers.
The actress shared on her Instagram story the post from her management, congratulating her for this new milestone.
“Congratulations, Ivana Alawi. Nasa puso mo talaga ang pagtulong sa kapwa. 50 million followers on Facebook is a phenomenal milestone that solidifies your reign as the most followed Facebook page in the Philippines,” Ivana’s management stated.
Her management also praised her authenticity, generosity, and undeniable charm. These traits that she has continue to inspire millions around the world. “Truly unmatched!” Ivana’s management said.
During a March 7, 2025 interview with ABS-CBN News and other media platforms, Alawi emphasized that assisting others remains the top priority, brushing off any negative feedback from critics.
“Ang iniisip ko ay ‘yung mga nagmamahal sa akin at kung paano ako makakatulong,” Ivana Alawi said.
Meanwhile, one of the people who criticized Ivana due to her iPhone giveaway was comedian Kuya Jobert Austria. He asked if Ivana is still not satisfied with her wealth.
