Woman Enters 3 Houses in Navotas in Single Day
A woman was caught on CCTV allegedly entering and taking valuables from three different houses in Navotas City in a single day.
On Monday, July 6, 2026, a female suspect reportedly entered several barangays across the city. She would enter houses that appeared to be accessible and take any money or belongings she could find before leaving the area.
The first incident took place around 2 p.m. in Barangay Sipac-Almacen. CCTV footage showed the woman entering a house where a bedridden patient was staying. After looking around, she allegedly took P2,000 in cash from a bag.
The money was reportedly intended for the patient’s medication. The person watching over the patient woke up while the woman was inside the house.
The suspect was still able to engage in a casual conversation before eventually leaving and escaping. About an hour later, the same woman was reportedly seen in Barangay Bagumbayan South.
The thief allegedly entered another house and stole a cellphone worth around P20,000. Relatives of the victim said the woman carefully observed the area before entering. Once she noticed that no one was around, she walked into the house as if she belonged there and left.
The woman’s activities did not stop there. Around 4 p.m., she crossed into neighboring Barangay Bagumbayan North and allegedly attempted to enter the home of the barangay captain.
Fortunately, a relative noticed her presence and questioned her before any property could be taken.
“Bago siya pumasok sa bahay ng tito ko, nagmatyag siya. Nung wala siyang nakita tao, para siyang normal na pumasok. Dire-diretso siya and after one minute tsaka siya lumabas na parang walang nangyari,” a witness said.
Local officials, barangay personnel, and police officers have since intensified their search for the suspect. She has already been placed on the watchlist of several barangays in Navotas.
Authorities are also reminding residents to stay alert, secure their homes, and keep doors locked at all times, even when someone is inside the house.
