Vic Sotto and Vice Ganda’s collab is much-awaited
Eat Bulaga host Vic Sotto and It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda revealed their backup plan if their movie was not included in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2026.
On Sunday, July 5, during an event at a mall in Cubao, Vice and Vic officially announced their movie collaboration. This made their fans so excited. They were joined by their director, Jun Lana.
During the event, Vice greeted the crowd using Eat Bulaga‘s tagline. “What’s up, mga Dabarkads!? Magandang hapon po sa inyong lahat,” he said.

Vice Ganda also thanked MMDA and those behind the MMFF for giving them the chance to make their supporters happy this coming holiday season.
“At sobrang excited po yung buong team namin dahil ito po talaga yung pinakahihintay namin na mai-offer sa inyo, ang collaboration namin ni Bossing Vic Sotto,” he said.
The Unkabogable Star also said that they are promising that on Christmas Day, they are expecting that they would put big smiles on people’s faces and laughter to Filipino families. He added that the whole team of The Greatest Showdown would do their best. “Maraming, maraming salamat,” the Kapamilya comedian-host said.
When it was time for Vic Sotto to greet the people, he used It’s Showtime’s tagline. “What’s up, Madlang People?! Nasabi na lahat ni Vice, e! Kaya…ang totoo niyan, ninenerbiyos kami kanina. Nag-uusap kami. ‘E, pag di tayo natawag?!’” Bossing said.

He revealed that if their movie would not be included in the official list of entries, they already have their back-up plan. “Nag-usap kami, magsa-shopping na lang kami! At magmemeryenda ng burger,” the Eat Bulaga host said.
Bossing thanked MMDA and MMFF, and that he felt so good to be back with the Best Actor, top-grosser, his co-star Vice Ganda. “It is my honor and pleasure,” the veteran comedian-host said.
“Maraming, maraming salamat po. We’re very excited for this project at ito po’y handog namin sa lahat ng mga manonood ng pelikulang Pilipino. Maraming salamat po. Thank you!” Vic Sotto added.
