The 21-year-old suspect, identified only by the alias Ting, is unemployed and a resident of Barangay Samburon, Linamon, according to police.
Based on the investigation, the two women were bathing when they discovered that someone was allegedly recording them without their knowledge or permission. Authorities said the suspect was caught using a gadget to secretly capture images and videos of the victims while they were inside the bathroom.

The women immediately sought help from the police after realizing what had happened. Officers responded to the report and quickly took the suspect into custody.
The incident has raised concern among residents because of the serious violation of privacy involved. The man’s action can leave victims feeling shocked, embarrassed, and emotionally distressed.
Authorities emphasized that everyone has the right to privacy, especially in places such as bathrooms where people expect to be safe from unwanted observation or recording.
