Rosmar Leaves Netizens Speechless W/ Massive Meralco Expenses
ROSMAR – Businesswoman and social media personality Rosmar once again became a trending topic after sharing the enormous power bills she received for her home, businesses, and other properties.
Rosemarie “Rosmar Tan” Pamulaklakin recently amused her followers while also expressing disbelief after revealing the hefty electricity bills she received for her home, businesses, and other properties.
Through a Facebook post, Rosmar shared several Meralco billing statements from different establishments she owns, including a spa, a laundry business, and other properties under her name. The collection of bills quickly caught the attention of netizens because of the large amounts reflected on each account.
“Kainamang Meralco yan HAHAHA tapos hindi lang isa. Ang dami nila HAHAHAHAHHA,” said Rosmar.
According to the entrepreneur, the bills she posted represented only part of what she needed to settle. She explained that the combined amount had already reached nearly ₱300,000, with additional billing statements still expected to arrive.
“300k halos, di pa kasama ung iba. Half pa lang yan. May parating pang ibang bills. #Meralco,” she added.
Based on the photos she uploaded, several of the individual electricity bills exceeded ₱50,000. One residential account showed a charge of more than ₱57,000, while other accounts connected to her businesses ranged from over ₱37,000 to ₱56,000. The figures reflected the significant operational costs involved in managing multiple commercial establishments and residential properties.
Rosmar’s post immediately generated a wave of reactions across social media. Many users sympathized with the expenses required to keep several businesses running, acknowledging that high electricity consumption is often unavoidable for entrepreneurs operating multiple establishments.
Others, however, responded with humor, joking that the large bills were expected, given the number of businesses and properties she owns. Some even quipped that Meralco had “pumaldo” because of the amount she pays in electricity charges.
The post sparked renewed conversations online about rising electricity expenses and the financial burden they can place on both households and business owners. While many found Rosmar’s humorous approach entertaining, others viewed it as a reminder of the realities faced by entrepreneurs who shoulder substantial operating costs every month.
Rosmar is not the only celebrity who has publicly reacted to high electricity charges. In the past, personalities such as Cacai Mitra, Barbie Imperial, and Jayson Gainza have also voiced their concerns and frustrations regarding their own electric bills, drawing similar discussions among their followers on social media.
