Stolen Goat Recovered From Riding-in-Tandem Suspects in Valencia City
Riding-in-tandem suspects reportedly stole a goat owned by a councilor in Valencia City, Bukidnon, but the animal was recovered after a chase.
On Friday afternoon, June 26, 2026, a goat belonging to a city councilor in Valencia City, Bukidnon was successfully recovered after two motorcycle-riding suspects allegedly stole the animal and attempted to escape.
In the video captured by a passing motorist, the suspects can be seen escaping while carrying the goat as they sped away from the area. The goat was owned by Valencia City Councilor Lando Centillas.
According to reports, one of the councilor’s personnel noticed the theft and immediately chased the suspects. A pursuit followed along a portion of Diversion Road as the suspects tried to avoid being caught.
As the chase continued, the two men allegedly dropped the goat from their motorcycle. It was believed that they abandoned the animal to make their escape easier and avoid being intercepted.
Despite losing the goat, the suspects were able to get away before authorities or pursuers could stop them.
Fortunately, the goat was later found and returned safely to its owner. However, the animal reportedly suffered injuries during the incident. Reports indicated that the goat was limping after being thrown or dropped from the moving motorcycle.
After the incident, efforts were made to identify the suspects. The councilor shared information online and sought assistance in improving the video footage to obtain a clearer view of the motorcycle and its license plate number.
Enhanced images reportedly provided a better look at the plate, which may help investigators to locate those involved.
As of this writing, authorities have not yet released the identities of the suspects. Information regarding possible criminal charges has also not been announced.
