Senator Kiko Pangilinan released a video showcasing his entry for an acting challenge using the phrase “Nabigyan daw ako ng maleta.”
On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, Megastar Sharon Cuneta denied the allegations against her husband that he received money during the time when he visited Marawi City.
This accusation came from individuals claiming to be former associates of ex-congressman Zaldy Co. Allegedly, Pagilinan received a suitcase containing money, which is connected to the flood control issue.
Sharon called the accusers “liars.” She also pointed out that their trip to Marawi was intended to thank local officials and residents for the support that her husband got from them during the 2025 midterm elections.
In a recent social media post, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan made the issue lighter, as he shared his acting challenge entry with the line connected to “maleta” allegedly containing money.
In the video, the lawmaker showcased her portrayal of different emotions, which are “natural or normal reactions, disappointed, sarcastic, and flirty.”
While he was delivering the line using the four emotions, a message was running across the screen which stated, “Hindi po totoong may natanggap tayong maleta kaya wag n’yo ito i-splice.”

To recall, Dela Rosa’s allies proposed that he would be allowed to attend the Senate sessions remotely, just like what was proposed for former Senator De Lima when she was in prison. Pangilinan stressed that the situations were different.
