Claudine Barretto Opens Heart Again But Sets One Clear Rule
CLAUDINE BARRETTO – After her recent breakup, Claudine Barretto shares an honest reflection about relationships and timing.
Actress Claudine Barretto is officially single once again after her brief romance with Milano Sanchez, the brother of broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez, came to an end.
Despite the relationship not working out, Claudine made it clear that there is no bad blood between her and Milano. In fact, she emphasized that they remain good friends and continue to have mutual respect.
Reflecting on their short-lived relationship, the actress shared, “We’re friends. In all fairness naman sa kanya, I don’t think that’s counted. ‘Yung one month, I mean, that was really a whirlwind relationship.
“It was a whirlwind friendship talaga siguro. And I think we’re really talagang, no, I know, I know, I believe that we’re really hitting it off as friends talaga,” the actress said.
Claudine also admitted that timing may have played a major role in why the relationship failed to progress.
“Yes, ano lang siguro, it was, hindi pa yun yung tamang panahon pala talaga, siguro.
“And it’s not…ang layo ng mundo niya sa mundo ko. Hindi niya… mahirap, mahirap talaga. You have to be prepared talaga kapag papasukin mo ‘yung isang relationship.
“And siguro, ako rin. Siguro, ang takeaway ko diyan, when you’re vulnerable, don’t fall in love. ‘Yun lang ‘yan, eh.
“At saka ano, medyo lumayu-layo tayo sa mga wakes. Sa mga burol, kasi medyo du’n ka na-take home eh,” she told the media.
The celebrity mom’s honesty about her recent heartbreak resonated with many fans. Rather than dwelling on disappointment, Claudine appears to be focusing on personal growth and learning valuable lessons from the experience.
Even after another failed attempt at finding love, Claudine revealed that she has not completely closed her heart to the possibility of a new relationship. She remains hopeful and is willing to entertain potential suitors if the right person comes along.
In fact, she is ready to entertain a lover again, “Yes, I’m open naman to entertaining suitors. Siguro talaga kung darating, darating.
“Kung hindi, ayoko nang pilitin. Ma-annul (annulment) muna. Hindi pa kami annul,” the actress said she was referring to her wedding with her estranged husband, Raymart Santiago.
For now, Claudine is choosing to let love happen naturally. While she remains open to new possibilities, she believes that some things are best left to timing rather than force.
