Sharon Cuneta Passes Down 1st Luxury Watch to Daughter KC Concepcion
SHARON CUNETA – Megastar Sharon Cuneta recently melted hearts online after revealing the sentimental story behind a luxury watch she handed down to her eldest daughter, KC Concepcion.
Veteran actress and singer Sharon Cuneta recently shared a touching family moment after passing down a treasured possession to her eldest daughter, KC Concepcion. The sentimental gift was none other than the very first luxury watch Sharon purchased for herself during the early years of her career in the entertainment industry.
In an Instagram post, the Megastar proudly revealed that KC is now wearing the watch, which holds decades of personal memories and significance. Sharon reflected on the special piece and its remarkable history, saying, “Notice the watch she is wearing in the picture. It is the very first expensive watch I bought for myself when I was sixteen or seventeen, so it is over forty years old.”

According to Sharon, the gold-and-steel Cartier watch represents an important chapter in her life. Beyond being a valuable accessory, it serves as a symbol of her journey as a young actress and singer who was beginning to establish herself in show business.
The actress also recalled that she wore the same watch in the 1984 film “Sa Hirap At Ginhawa,” where she starred alongside her former husband, Gabby Concepcion, who is also KC’s father. To further highlight the watch’s significance, Sharon shared a scene from the movie as proof that it has long been part of her life.
The period was particularly meaningful for Sharon because, aside from being one of the former couple’s early projects together, she was already expecting their daughter at the time. Reflecting on that memory, she shared, “KC was in my tummy! Now she is wearing my precious watch.”

Sharon also expressed her affection for her daughter through a heartfelt message, writing, “I love you, Tina! [red heart emoji].”
Meanwhile, KC recently opened up about her experience growing up in a blended family and being the daughter of two of the country’s biggest entertainment icons. Speaking in an interview on journalist Karmina Constantino’s podcast, she said, “I’m so appreciative because it’s not about belonging and being an outsider or not; it’s just the realization, acceptance, and understanding of that world that was a breakthrough for me. I love this unique situation I’m placed in, and I hope I make it right.”
