11-Year-Old Girl Injured After Being Attacked by Another Minor in Pampanga
An 11-year-old girl was seriously injured after she was allegedly attacked and stabbed by another minor in Barangay Paralaya, Arayat, Pampanga.
According to police reports, the incident was first brought to the attention of authorities by Barangay Captain Crispin Polo Cruz at around 5:40 p.m. on May 23, 2026. The actual attack reportedly happened earlier, at around 12:27 p.m. on May 22, 2026.
The victim, known as alias “Nena,” is a Grade 5 student. The suspect is a 14-year-old boy, identified only as alias “Justine,” who is now considered a child in conflict with the law.
Based on the initial investigation, the suspect allegedly invited the girl to an abandoned house in the area, telling her to look at a dead dog. When the child entered the house, she was reportedly struck on the head using an alcohol bottle.
After that, she was allegedly stabbed several times using broken glass, causing multiple injuries, including wounds on her back.
Reports also said the suspect forced the victim to swallow stones during the attack in an attempt to stop her from screaming and asking for help.
The injured child was immediately rushed to Jose B. Lingad Regional Memorial Hospital in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga. She is now receiving medical treatment and care as doctors monitor her condition.
Local authorities have already coordinated with the Arayat Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office for proper intervention regarding the minor suspect. Since the suspect is also a minor, he will be handled under child protection laws and will undergo appropriate assessment and rehabilitation procedures.
Police continue to investigate the incident to learn the motive behind the attack and to ensure that justice and proper support are given to everyone involved. The case has also raised concern among residents, especially parents, about the safety of children in the community.
