Female Customer Questions Popular Convenience Store’s Eco-Tuesday Policy
A female customer became upset with a popular convenience store after learning that paper bags are not given out every Tuesday.
Recently, Nikkie M. Albay, a Facebook user, shared a photo of the items she purchased from the well-known convenience store. The post quickly went viral and received various reactions from the online community.
Albay visited 7-Eleven store twice on the same day. Her first purchase happened in the morning, and at that time she was given a paper bag to carry her items.

Later that day, around 6 p.m., she returned to the same store to buy more goods. However, she noticed that the staff did not give her a paper bag during her second purchase. When she asked about it, she was informed that paper bags were not being given every Tuesday.
The female customer was also told that the staff in the morning might have forgotten about the policy when they packed her earlier purchase.
The policy left her confused, especially since she had already received a paper bag earlier that same day. She explained that she understood the importance of eco-friendly efforts and reducing waste.

However, the lady also pointed out that many customers rely on paper bags to carry their purchases, especially if they are buying several items and do not have a reusable bag with them.
Nikkie’s post was not meant to attract attention but to ask for clarification about the policy. She wanted to better understand how the rule works and whether other customers might also be unaware of it.
Some netizens agreed with her concern and said convenience stores should make it easier for customers to carry their purchases. Others shared that stores may be trying to reduce the use of disposable packaging as part of environmental efforts.
