Megastar Sharon Cuneta quipped that President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. (PBBM) had made the wrong choice regarding the vice president.
Sharon’s husband, now-Senator Kiko Pangilinan, ran for vice president in the 2022 elections. He was the running mate of former Vice President Leni Robredo.
PBBM’s running mate was Vice President Sara Duterte, and their tandem won. However, their Uniteam cracked and conflicts between the former running mates.

On February 12, 2026, Sharon Cuneta performed at the “An Evening with the Stars,” event held at the Foro de Intramuros. Before performing her song, the singer-actress engaged with PBBM and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos in playful banter.
