Karen Davila Blooper: Karen de Guzman Reacts To Viral TV Moment

The recent TV blooper of Karen Davila has gone viral online.

KAREN DAVILA BLOOPER – ABS-CBN reporter Karen De GuzmanĀ has this to say following the viral television blooper of the veteran broadcaster.

Previously, veteran news anchor Karen Davila went viral because of her brief on-air mistake of saying her own name instead of her namesake, Karen de Guzman. This blooper was seen in the ā€œTV Patrolā€ episode on Tuesday night, February 10.

During the episode, Davila was introducing a report about a robbery, and instead of calling De Guzman, she accidentally voiced out her own name. She expressed, ā€œNagpa-Patrol, Karen Davila. Ay, Karen de Guzman!ā€

She even attempted to correct herself while on air, but it appeared she was a little too late.

Shortly after the broadcast, Davila spoke about the blooper on her X account, and her post said, ā€œOMG… ay… Karen De Guzman! Apologies [smiling face with sweat emoji].ā€Ā

On Facebook, she expressed, ā€œTao lang po nagkakamali. Kaya ko pa, mga dear! Tuesday pa lang naman.ā€

ABS-CBN reporter Karen De Guzman reacted to the viral blooper and recalled some of their Karen-to-Karen interactions during live reports in the past. She wrote on her X account, ā€œButi na lang talaga, hindi na po need i-mention ang surname after lead in haha. Forever a fan of Ms. @iamkarendavila.ā€

The viral moment quickly spread on social media, with some users joking about Davila’s ability to multitask as both a news anchor and a field reporter. Others online even compared the incident to an earlier viral moment involving former actress Karen delos Reyes and comedian Bobay, who mistakenly called her ā€œKaren delos Santos,ā€ leading to a seemingly tense but meme-worthy exchange.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time Davila has gone viral for her on-air bloopers and lighthearted television moments. In October 2024, she was involved in another on-air mishap when she accidentally walked behind co-anchor Noli de Castro while he was delivering the program’s opening headline.
