Award-winning actress Alessandra de Rossi recalled the time when A-list actor Piolo Pascual asked her why she did not perform on the Kapamilya musical variety show ASAP.
Alessandra, fondly called Alex in showbiz, has been showcasing her acting caliber not just in the local entertainment scenes but also in film festivals abroad.

“One night, nilapitan niya ako,” lahad ni Alessandra. “Tapos tinanong niya ako, ‘Anong nangyari sa ‘yo? Parang sabay tayong nag-start. […] Sa’n ka nagpunta?’ What do you mean, sabi ko. Nandito lang ako,” the actress shared.
Then, Piolo wanted to know why Alessandra did not use what she possesses, like having a good singing voice.
“‘Hindi, [sabi ni Piolo], bakit hindi mo ginamit ‘yong talent mo? Ang galing mong kumanta. Ba’t hindi ka nag-ASAP?’ So sabi ko, ang pangit ng mga kanta. Hindi bagay sa akin. Pop is not my thing,” she said.
