R’Bonney Gabriel responded to this fiery statement
Miss Universe 2022 R’Bonny Gabriel slammed Miss Universe Organisation (MUO) President Raul Rocha through this brave response.
This year’s pageant faced a lot of controversy, especially in the announcement of the winners. Miss Mexico Fatima Bosch was hailed as the queen in the 74th edition of the pageant.
This did not sit well with pageant fans, and allegations surfaced that it was a “cooking show.”

Based on the article in PEP, there were pageant fans who also questioned how the MUO is now being handled by its president. Raul Rocha did not let this pass.
He defended himself through a video he posted on social media. Rocha pointed out that when he assumed the organisation’s presidency, the queens were able to achieve millions of followers in a short period of time.

Then, he mentioned that it was unlike what happened to R’Bonney Gabriel, who did not reach a million followers even after five years.
“Yet, our former American queen, R’Bonney, who won in 2022, has reached only around 800,000 followers in nearly five years. The numbers speak for themselves,” he said.
In her comment, the Filipino-American beauty queen slammed Raul Rocha. “I’m so tired of being measured by follower account,” R’Bonney wrote.

She also received support from netizens, especially from pageant people like American actress-model and Miss USA 2007 runner-up Meagan Tandy, and Thom Brodeur, Miss USA and Teen USA president.

As of this writing, R’Bonney Garbriel’s Instagram followers have reached the million mark, just a few hours after this issue. In her Instagram Story, R’Bonney shared her photo showing appreciation for the warm support she received from netizens.
“Thank y’all so much for the overwhelming love and support,” she wrote, adding, “This is insane.” In her photos, her hand was on her mouth, showing a disbelief expression in a positive way about what happened.
