Annabelle Rama showed concern for Sarah Lahbati
Showbiz veteran Annabelle Rama reacted to the rumor that her estranged daughter-in-law, actressSarah Lahbati, was kicked out of a high-end restaurant in BGC, Taguig City.
Sarah was one of the celebrities who attended the Tatler Ball 2025. It was a star-studded event organized by the lifestyle magazine. A rumor surfaced that after the event, there was an unofficial after-party held at the Medusa Bar.
Allegedly, Sarah arrived shortly after Martin Romualdez entered the bar. It was rumored that Sarah and Marty are in a relationship with each other. Before they came almost the same time, it was said that socialite Rocio Zobel, with other celebrities, was already in the restaurant.
After that, allegedly, when Rocio told her dad, Iñigo Zobel, that Sarah was already there. Then it was said that Iñigo spoke to his staff, and the next thing was that Sarah Lahbati was sent out of the restaurant.
Hearing about this rumor, Annabelle Rama, based on the article in Abante, showed concern for Sarah Lahbati. “Hindi maganda. Napahiya si Sarah sa ginawa sa kanya. Pinagtinginan siya ng mga tao!” the Gutierrez matriarch said.
Annabelle also said, “Awang-awa ako kay Sarah. Hindi siya dapat ginanu’n. Nakakahiya. Babae rin ako, hindi maganda ang ginawa sa kanya.”
She added that she won’t allow this, and if this were done to her, she would go crazy. Annabelle also said that she did not want this to happen to her daughter, Ruffa Gutierrez, or to anyone.
For Annabelle, Sarah is still the mother of her grandchildren, Zion and Kai. With this, she said that she would defend her estranged daughter-in-law.
“May nagkuwento sa akin, umiyak si Sarah. Nag-iiiyak daw si Sarah nang pumasok sa sasakyan. Naawa ako sa kanya!” Annabelle Rama shared.
She was planning to post about Sarah’s ordeal to call out the perpetrator. Anabelle also said that, as far as she knew, the actress was invited by a brand to join the after-party.
It was said that when Sarah was told to leave the social restaurant, a friend accompanied her and escorted her to her car. As of this writing, the actress has not yet spoken about the issue.
