Vice Ganda and Ion Perez celebrated their 7th anniversary
Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda said that “takot” is part of his relationship with his boyfriend Ion Perez.
In a recent vlog that the comedian-host shared on his YouTube channel, he shared the celebration that they had for his and Ion’s 7th anniversary.
Their relationship has gone through a lot already. There were happy and sad moments, and at times they were entangled in controversies or intriguing write-ups. However, they were able to surpass that, and they have been together for seven years.
In the vlog, Vice Ganda and Ion Perez’s It’s Showtime co-host Ryan Bang said that the couple is his role model when it comes to relationships. Ryan is like a son to Vice, and he said that as time goes on, the love between the two deepens.
Vice explained that love is not only measured by the amount of time a couple spends together, but also by the quality and specialness of their moments.
The comedian-host emphasized that every gesture and display of love should have meaning and not be done just for the public.
“’Di ba tinuro ko na sa iyo ‘yun? Sinabi ko kasi, kapag mahal mo ‘yung tao, hindi pwede kung ano ‘yung pinapakita mo sa kanya at pinaparamdam mo sa kanya, e pinapakita at pinaparamdam mo sa lahat. Kailangan natatangi,” Vice said.
He also mentioned that it is important to give each other space to better value the relationship.
Vice said that it’s good that he and Ion miss each other. They should have this kind of feeling. The Unkabogable Star said that this shows that distance can sometimes be good for appreciating each other more.
For him, it is important to feel that certain fear of not being the person you love because this would ignite the desire to be with that person.
“Maganda ‘yung may times na hindi kami magkasama ta’s nalulungkot kami kasi ‘yun ‘yung realization, ‘Ang halaga sa akin ng tao ‘yun.’ Pero kailangan ko siyang pabayaan para magawa ‘yung gusto niya and at the same time, maramdaman ko ulit ‘yung pagka-miss. ‘Di ba kapag alam mo ‘yung tao na napapalayo sa ‘yo natatakot ka? Kailangan may takot na nararamdaman,” Vice Ganda explained.
