₱300K Shopping Controversy: Bea Borres & Zeinab Harake Tell Fans Where Anger Should Be
ZEINAB HARAKE – Bea Borres and Zeinab Harake are making headlines after netizens criticized their recent ₱300,000 shopping spree for baby essentials.
Social media personality and soon-to-be mom Bea Borres has spoken up after receiving criticism from a netizen over her collaboration vlog with Zeinab Harake, where they were seen shopping for baby items worth more than ₱300,000.
On her Facebook page, Bea shared a screenshot of a comment from a netizen who questioned their lavish shopping. She explained that she had come across the comment while browsing Threads, saying, “I deleted my tiktok and ig apps. I only have fb and threads now and I actually enjoy using threads because it’s like X but less toxic pero when I opened it, ito agad yung una kong nakita.”

Bea clarified that the vlog in question was filmed before Typhoon Tino struck the country. “Hindi naman po ako nagsusumbat, and definitely not nagmamayabang. Wala rin naman ako balak ipost but since andami parin say hahaha l’ve already donated almost half a million pesos to different disasters that have happened in our country,” she stated.
She further emphasized her sense of responsibility, saying, “I also pay my taxes. magiging single mom po ako, pinapaaral ko pa ang sarili ko, but I still do what I can to help with the suffering happening around us.”
According to Bea, she understands that she has no obligation to give back, but she chooses to help in her own way because she recognizes that her success is due to the people who support her.
However, she expressed frustration that some content creators are often judged unfairly by the public. She pointed out that many netizens fail to notice the good things influencers do, focusing only on their spending habits instead.

Bea concluded her statement with a strong message: “I’m sorry if you think that it’s insensitive but atleast hindi kami magnanakaw at hindi kami nag fleflex ng pera na galing sa nakaw. magalit po kayo sa corrupt, isa rin kami sa naninikawan.”
The post quickly gained attention online, with many netizens weighing in on Bea’s remarks about accountability and social media criticism.
