Reportedly, there were personalities whom she refused to interview on her YouTube channel. It was said that contractors Curlee and Sarah Discaya wanted to be featured in Karen’s vlog.

The Discaya couple guested on the YouTube channels of veteran journalists Korina Sanchez and Julius Babao. The Discayas display of wealth in these vlogs prompted the public to question the source of their wealth. Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto called out Korina and Julius for giving the couple, who were linked to anomalous flood control projects, a platform to flash their lavish lifestyle.

Korina and Julius were bashed because of that, while netizens commended Karen for reportedly refusing to feature the Discayas.

In a recent post on X, formerly Twitter, Karen Davila shared an intriguing post. The journalist offered prayers for people of Davao after suffering from a strong earthquake.

Karen said in her tweet that amid these calamities, there were politicians, specifically congressmen, who still watched F1 races in Singapore.

Then, Karen Davila said, “Lord, please give us politicians who genuinely feel and care for our people. Yung may malasakit. Hindi bingi at bulag.”
