Here’s an update about Opong PH from PAGASA.
OPONG PH – It is now a severe tropical storm category, and these areas are still under Signal Nos. 1, 2, and 3.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has recently released an update about Opong PH. From the typhoon category, it was downgraded to the severe tropical storm category.

At 4 PM, the location of its center was over the coastal waters of Santa Cruz, Occidental Mindoro (13.0°N, 120.3°E). It is moving west northwestward at 35 km/h, with maximum sustained winds of 110 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 150 km/h, and a central pressure of 985 hPa.

Based on the forecast, Opong is heading to the West Philippine Sea tonight and is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) tomorrow afternoon, September 27. While moving to the WPS, it may re-intensify into a typhoon.
