Ivana Alawi, Cong TV, Other Content Creators At Trillion Peso March

The September 21 rally saw several personalities, including Ivana Alawi, Cong TV, and other social media personalities and content creators.

Several of the Philippines’ top celebrities joined the rallies at Luneta Park and the EDSA People Power Monument, using their platforms to denounce corruption in light of the flood control scandal. The two major protests during the September 21 rally were the Baha sa Luneta in Luneta Park, Manila, and the Trillion Peso March at the EDSA People Power Monument in Quezon City.

In the Trillion Peso March, some of the country’s top content creators were there and used their platform to take a stand against corruption following the flood control scandal. They were heard, and they have inspired a lot.

Actress and vlogger Ivana Alawi was there and wrote in her post, “Ang laban na ito ay para sa kinabukasan ng Pilipinas. Tigilan na ang pagnanakaw! Tigilan na ang pangungurakot! MAHIYA NAMAN KAYO!”

Veteran YouTuber Cong TV and his younger brother Junnie Boy also proudly went with the people in the anti-corruption demonstration. Cong TV wrote, “Magnanakaw ka tapos gusto mo walang sisita? Hahaha G*go ka ba?” 

Junnie attended the march with his wife, Vien Iligan, and sisters Pat Gaspar and Venice Velasquez.

Food vlogger Erwan Heussaff was also there and braved the inclement weather conditions. In his post, he stressed that the fight was never about sides, colors, or banners. The main point of it all and the reason why they were all there was: “We’re sick of the greed.”

Sassa Gurl was also there, and in a video, she was spotted speaking before her “nakshies,” saying, “Gutom tayong lahat, fresh silang lahat? Hindi puwede yan, bakla. Diyos ko. O gora na, laban na!”

Syrian-born vlogger Basel Manadil also joined, standing with the Filipinos, as he loved the country dearly.
