Nadia Montenegro Shares Heartfelt Update on Baron Geisler and Their Daughter’s Relationship
BARON GEISLER – Nadia Montenegro says things are looking up between Baron Geisler and Sophia, who have been spending time together since February.
Nadia Montenegro recently provided an encouraging update regarding the relationship between actor Baron Geisler and their daughter, Sophia, sharing that things are beginning to improve between them.
During a vlog interview with journalist Karen Davila on May 22, Nadia and her sister Tania discussed past relationships and family experiences. When the topic turned to Geisler, Nadia explained that while she doesn’t regret being with him, she does regret the difficult circumstances surrounding their relationship.
“I never regretted being with Baron, but I regretted the situation he was in at the time,” she said. “How I wish that he was sober. Maybe we could have handled things differently.”
Despite their rocky history, Nadia noted that their situation has become more positive in recent months. She mentioned that she and Geisler have had conversations and that Sophia has been staying with her father since February.
She also shared that Geisler and Sophia are now focused on getting ready for her transition to college. According to Nadia, “things are working out,” hinting at a growing connection between father and daughter.
Tania, meanwhile, admitted she was initially against her sister’s relationship with Geisler. “She knows how much I hated Baron,” she said, adding that her anger stemmed from seeing her sister suffer during that time.
However, Tania said she eventually softened her stance after Baron made an effort to reach out. “I just told him to please be good and to fix himself,” she shared.
Last year, Nadia publicly clarified that her late husband, Macario “Boy” Asistio Jr., was not Sophia’s biological father and later named Geisler as the real father. She had previously criticized Geisler for revealing this in a way that appeared to be for attention.
Despite past difficulties, recent developments indicate a move toward reconciliation and healing within their family.
