This is what Senator Bong Go said about the Halalan 2025 result.
In an interview, Senator Bong Go was asked about him leading the senatorial race in the midterm polls, or Halalan 2025.
Re-electionist Bong Go is leading the Halalan 2025 senatorial race, and following him on the list in second place is Bam Aquino. Speaking about his victory, he accordingly felt relieved seeing the partial and unofficial results of the 2025 senatorial race with him in the top spot.

At the same time, he is happy, as it shows that the people still trust him.
“Para akong nabunutan ng tinik… Salamat po sa inyong tiwala. Hinding-hindi ko po sasayangin ‘yung tiwalang binigay niyo po sa akin,” Go said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.
He would accordingly use this mandate to lobby for health, food, job security, and education in the next three years in the Senate. He assured the people that he would continue his dedication to giving service to the people.
The 12 senators chosen in the midterm polls will form half the jury for the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte. In a facebook post, Go also expressed, “Truly, God is good. God is fair. Maraming salamat sa Panginoon sa buhay at gabay, at sa buong sambayanang Pilipino sa tiwala at suporta sa isang simpleng probinsyanong binigyan ninyo ng pagkakataong magsilbi sa bayan.”
