Archie Alemania continues legal battle against Rita Daniela
Actor Archie Alemania pleads not guilty to acts of lasciviousness case filed by actress-singer Rita Daniela.
The issue between Rita and Archie started during the party organized by A-list actress Bea Alonzo for her Widow’s War co-stars. Reportedly, Archie was already saying nasty things to Rita during the party.
When Archie brought Rita home, according to the actress’s complaint, the actor tried to kiss her. She did not let this pass and filed a complaint against the actor.
In March, Archie Alemania was indicted for acts of lasciviousness and this gave hope to Rita Daniela that she would get the justice she was aiming to have from what happened. Early this month, a warrant of arrest was issued against the actor.
Based on the report from GMA Entertainment, Archie went to the Bacoor Hall of Justice in Cavite regarding the case filed against him.
Together with his legal team, he submitted a not-guilty plea to the case filed by Rita. The court granted the request from Archie’s camp to release a gag order so that the case would not be available for public consumption.
The actor refused to give a statement regarding this. Rita and her legal counsel Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque attended the hearing.
“I feel bad I mean… I know my truth and I know God is with me,” the actress-singer said. She also stressed that whatever will happen, and how long this case may take, the truth will come out eventually.
Previously, Rita Daniela spoke about the trauma she had after that incident with Archie Alemania. The actress-singer said that she is more guarded now. She is trying her best to act the same but still, she was traumatized by that experience.
