PAGASA Says 2 Weather Systems to Affect PH Weather Condition
PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that two weather systems will bring scattered rains over parts of the country.
On Tuesday (April 15, 2025), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. Two weather systems will affect the country’s weather conditions.
PAGASA weather specialist Chenel Dominguez reported that the frontal system will bring cloudy skies with rains over extreme Northern Luzon while the easterlies will be affecting the rest of the country.

“Wala pa rin tayong minomonitor na anumang bagyo o low pressure area sa loob at labas ng PAR, pero meron tayong dalawang weather system na nakakaapekto dito sa ating bansa sa ngayon,” Dominguez said.
The frontal system will bring cloudy weather conditions with rains over Batanes, Cagayan, and Apayao. Flash floods or landslides are possible due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
The easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over the Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.

The easterlies will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country. Possible flash floods or landslides are expected during severe thunderstorms.
Hot and humid weather conditions are expected over the remaining parts of the country with chances of rain due to the localized thunderstorms.
Here are temperature ranges in major cities across the country:
- Metro Manila: 27 to 35 degrees Celsius
- Baguio City: 18 to 25 degrees Celsius
- Laoag City: 25 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Tuguegarao: 25 to 34 degrees Celsius
