HOLY WEEK 2025 BANK SCHEDULES – Here are the banking operations of these establishments for this year’s Semana Santa.
In a previous article, Pres. Bongbong Marcos released a statement for this holy season, a commemoration of the passion, death, and resurrection of the Son of God, Jesus Christ.
To take time to reflect, most banks will be closed and adjust their operations during this Holy Week. In this year’s Semana Santa, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday will fall on April 17 and April 18, respectively.
See some sbank announcements below:
- Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI)
All branches will be closed from April 17, 2025, until April 19, 2025. BPI and Robinsons Bank channels are also temporarily unavailable from 8 AM to 6 PM on Thursday, April 17, for the first batch of system integration activities related to the merger of the two parties.
- BDO Unibank Inc.
All branches will be closed from April 17, 2025, until April 19, 2025, while BDO Online, BDO Pay, ATMs, and cash deposit machines remain available.
- China Banking Corp. (Chinabank)
All branches will be closed from April 17, 2025, until April 19, 2025. The regular banking schedule will resume on April 21, 2025.
- East West Banking Corp. (EastWest)
Non-mall-based stores will be closed from April 17, 2025, until April 18, 2025. Mall-based stores will be open on select days.
- Philippine National Bank
Select branches will be open.
- Security Bank Corp.
All branches will be closed from April 17, 2025, until April 20, 2025.
- Land Bank of the Philippines
All Landbank branches will be open until 3 pm on Wednesday, April 16. All branches will be closed from April 17, 2025, until April 20, 2025.
