Malacañang Gives Message to Public over Duterte’s Birthday on March 28
DUTERTE’S BIRTHDAY – An official of Malacañang told the public to sing a birthday song for former Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte on March 28.
Former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte is under the custody of the International Criminal Court (ICC) for more than a week now. Last March 11, the former Philippine Chief Executive was arrested in Manila upon his arrival from Hong Kong.

Inside the ICC detention facility in The Hague, former Pres. Duterte wants at least two (2) cans of Coke Zero daily as per Vice Pres. Sara Duterte. She assured that her father is “feeling better now” but they have a problem with him when it comes to his soda consumption.
Duterte was also released from the hospital wing of the Hague Penitentiary Institution. He is now under a regular detention. The facility also serves him rice as he has requested aside from the Dutch foods.

According to Vice Pres. Duterte, the former President wants his personal clothes aside from his supply of Coke Zero. The Vice President assured that he will have an unlimited soda. She also offered to bring him books there to read but he declined citing his eye problems due to old age.

Former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte is turning 80 years old this March 28. Recently, Malacañang spoke on the upcoming birthday of the former President amid the calls on the government and the Supreme Court to order his return to the country.

Based on a report on Inquirer, Malacañang told the public to wish former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte a happy birthday on March 28. Palace Press Officer Atty. Claire Castro also told the public to sing the former President a birthday song.
“Ako po may mensahe: Kantahan natin ng ‘Happy Birthday.’ ‘Yun lang po,” Castro said noting that Pres. Bongbong Marcos has yet to give a message for FPRRD.
Based on the report, the Malacañang Press Officer stressed that a person who celebrates his/her birthday must be happy. She also stressed the wish for a happy birthday to Duterte.
“Kasi birthday po ‘yun eh, kailangan po maging maligaya ang taong nagbi-birthday at wini-wish po natin siya nang happy birthday,” the Palace Press Officer said.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte said her sister Kitty will go to The Hague to visit their father. However, her brothers, Paolo and Baste, still don’t have Visas to be able to get to the Netherlands.
