Sophia Asistio, the daughter of Baron Geisler, faced showbiz reporters
Actor Baron Geisler brought his daughter Sophia Asistio to a recent story conference for the movie Tag-Ulan.
Baron is with Kapuso stars Beauty Gonzalez and Mark Herras in this movie. Based on the article by The Philippine Star entertainment writer MJ Marfori, Baron’s wife and daughter with actress Nadia Montenegro were with him during the story conference.
The entertainment writer took notice of Sophia’s beauty and that she was a carbon copy of her father. To recall, last year, Nadia talked about her youngest daughter, whose father was Baron.
Although this created a loud buzz in the entertainment industry, after the controversy, Baron and Sophia now have a good father-daughter relationship.
Baron Geisler’s wife Jamie shared that when she learned about Sophia, she told her husband, “we do not need a DNA test.” It was because it was too obvious that he was Sophia’s father.
Then, MJ Marfori shared that she asked Sophia Asistio if she is interested in entering showbiz. The 18-year-old lady playfully answered, “Secret.” She loves dancing and she said that she wants to get deeper into this when she enters college.
The young lady is now staying with Baron because his home is nearer to her school. Sophia is exploring medical-related courses. “I’m looking forward to business or med courses, like dentistry or psychology. Still exploring,” she said.
Then, Marfori shared that they’ve noticed that while waiting for Baron, Jamie and Sofia were chatting to each other about different topics. The entertainment reporter shared that it was a “light energy and light mood.”
At that moment, Marfori was also able to ask Baron Geisler regarding the recent issue that he was detained because of his alleged violation of a local ordinance on drunkenness. The actor stressed that the public should not believe the “lies” and that he will let his lawyer answer this issue.
