Authorities Arrest Woman for Stealing Bag in QC and Manila Malls
A woman who has been repeatedly stealing bags from various malls in Quezon City and Manila has been arrested.
The authorities served four warrants of arrest against the female suspect, confirming her involvement in multiple theft cases.
The 55-year-old suspect was initially detained on December 18 at the Project 6 Police Station in Quezon City due to an arrest warrant for theft. Further investigation revealed that she had additional outstanding warrants in both Quezon City and Manila.

On January 4, another warrant was issued by the Manila Regional Trial Court, and the fourth warrant was served in February.
According to Police Lieutenant Colonel Roldante Sarmiento, commander of Project 6 Police Station, the woman is listed as the tenth most wanted person in their jurisdiction. Her usual targets are shopping malls, where she allegedly steals brand-new bags.
Police reports suggest that she operates alone and frequently changes her identity to avoid capture. She has been known to use different names each time she is apprehended.
This is not her first encounter with the law. She was previously arrested in 2016 and 2018 for theft. In 2017, she was also charged with a drug-related offense. When questioned, the suspect admitted to stealing bags from malls, saying that it had become a habit.
The woman stated that she just wanted to get everything over with so she would no longer have any pending cases.
The police are now preparing the necessary documents for the return of her warrant. She remains in custody at the Quezon City Police District Station 15 while authorities continue their legal procedures.
With her repeated offenses and attempts to evade capture, law enforcement is working to ensure that justice is served. Shoppers and mall owners are advised to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity to prevent similar incidents in the future.
