Police Arrest Man Involved in Proliferating Illegal Drugs Hidden in Milk Box Delivered to QC Fast-Food Chain
The illegal drugs hidden inside a milk box were delivered to a fast-food chain in Quezon City, and a male suspect was arrested.
On New Year’s Eve, police confiscated over P330,000 worth of high-grade illegal drugs, also known as kush, after it was delivered to a fast-food restaurant in Barangay Laging Handa, Quezon City.
The drugs were hidden inside a milk box and dropped off by a delivery rider, according to Kamuning Police Commander PLtCol. Leonie Ann Dela Cruz.

The delivery came out of nowhere, leaving the restaurant manager confused. The rider quickly left after saying someone would call to pick it up. Suspicious of the unexpected package and the weird smell coming from it, the manager contacted the barangay.
When officials opened the box, they found it packed with what looked like illegal drugs. Police immediately set up a plan to catch whoever would claim the box.
As expected, the restaurant received a call from a man who said the package was delivered to the wrong address and he’d come by to get it. True enough, the man showed up, and officers were there to arrest him on the spot.
“So agad-agad, nakapagresponde ang ating pulis.
The drugs weighed around 223 grams. The suspect refused to say much, only commenting that he’d speak in court. He’s now behind bars at the Kamuning Police Station and is facing charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
