For Kapamilya host Luis Manzano, a letter on social media he wrote for his wife Jessy Mendiola is to celebrate her on her birthday. She is now 32 years old and on his post, he expressed love for her, the favorite human of their daughter, Peanut.
“Happy happy birthday to Peanuts favorite person in the world! We love you very much! Thank you for everything you do for the family! You’re the best! We love you Mama,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Luis is running as Batangas Vice Governor for next year’s election. He filed his certificate of candidacy on October 3. It’s been years of persuading him to run for public service and it was just this year that he finally found the courage to give it a go.
His mother, Star For All Season Vilma Santos, served Batangas for many years and was elected Mayor, Representative, and Governor of Batangas in the past. For the 2025 elections, Vilma is also returning to the political arena and his brother Ryan Christian Recto will run for 6th district representative.
In Manzano’s decision to run, Mendiola is proud and supportive of him. Of all people, she is the one who ultimately knows his heart to help other people. She knows how Manzano liked to help and listen to others without asking for anything in return.
