Kyline Alcantara Spearheads Aid for Albay Residents Affected by Typhoon
KYLINE ALCANTARA – Kapuso star Kyline Alcantara takes the lead in organizing relief efforts to support Albay residents impacted by the recent typhoon.
Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara initiated her own relief efforts to assist her fellow Albay residents affected by Typhoon Kristine. Taking matters into her own hands, she raised funds to provide essential aid for her community.
Recently, the Bicol region endured severe flooding caused by the heavy rains from Typhoon Kristine. On Instagram, Kyline expressed her sadness upon hearing about the extensive damage the typhoon had inflicted on her hometown.
She shared that, together with friends and family, she organized a fundraising drive to purchase food and essential supplies for those in evacuation centers.
“Nuong nalaman ko na ang Bicol Region ang isa sa nga labis na natamaan ng Bagyong Kristine.
“Nalungkot ako at nag-alala para sa aking mga kababayan. Kaya naman ang aking pamilya at ang aming mga kaibigan ay nagtulong-tulong sa abot ng aming makakaya para matulungan ang ilan sa mga baranggay sa Albay.”
To date, they have delivered aid to five barangays across different towns in Albay.
Kyline added, “At maraming salamat din po sa lahat ng mga kaibigan ko na handang mag bigay ng tulong para sa aking mga kababayan.
“Padaba ko kamo mga kapwa ko Bicolano. Pirmi kitang mag tarabangan sa oras ning pangangaipuhan. Dios Mabalos satuyang gabos. (Mahal ko kayong mga kapwa ko Bicolano. Lagi tayong magtulungan sa oras ng pangangailangan. Thank you sa ating lahat.)”
Kobe Paras, rumored to be Kyline’s boyfriend, expressed his pride in her efforts. In a comment on Kyline’s post, Kobe noted that she and her family took the lead in organizing the relief initiative, saying, “this relief operation was kyline and her families idea! this is not connected to any network or company. thank you to everyone that donated and supported her when she started reaching out.”
Recently, Kobe confirmed that he and Kyline are “dating.”
