Mommy Inday, Claudine Barretto’s Mother, Currently Confined at Hospital
Claudine Barretto’s mother, Mommy Inday, was diagnosed with lupus thus, the actress is seeking prayers for her recovery.
The Barrettos are among the showbiz celebrity clans in the Philippines. Sisters Gretchen, Marjorie, and Claudine are all known to the public. Their nephew Pocholo Barretto is also in the showbiz industry and Julia Barretto, Marjorie’s daughter, is the youngest star from the family. Their family’s matriarch is Mommy Inday who is not a stranger to the public.
Mommy Inday was left under the care of her children and grandchildren after her husband, Miguel Barretto, died in 2019. He was 82 when he passed away. His death left the Barretto family in grief and Claudine is one of those who are vocal about her longing for the presence of her “Daddy Mike”.
Unfortunately, recently, the actress shared a sad update her Mommy Inday on social media. Claudine Barretto’s mother was diagnosed with lupus, a chronic autoimmune disease that can affect different parts of the body.
Mommy Inday is currently 87 years old. Recently, on social media, Claudine Barretto penned a message for her mother telling her that they love and need her dearly. According to the actress, she has been confined in the hospital for more than a week already.
Claudine Barretto asked for prayers for her mother citing that she is the only parent that she has left. According to the actress, she has been checking and taking care of her Mommy Inday together with her older brothers and in-laws.
