FAMAS Awardees Including Eva Darren Play in Family Feud
EVA DARREN – The veteran actress joined a Family Feud episode wherein her FAMAS inviter, Renz Spangler, was also one of the players.
The name of veteran actress Eva Darren sparked headlines amid a FAMAS fiasco. It stemmed when the veteran actress was invited to be a presenter at the film award-giving event but the Awards Night ended without it happening.
It was not Ms. Eva Darren but a young singer who was asked to go up the stage with Mr. Tirso Cruz III to be the presenters. The veteran actress was present at the event with her three (3) grandchildren. Her doctor son narrated the incident in a post that went viral online.
FAMAS apologized to the veteran actress. According to the film award-giving body, they were not able to see the veteran actress at the event so they immediately looked for a replacement of her since it was a live event.
Veteran actress Divina Valencia who also attended FAMAS Awards 2024 slammed the reason given by the film award-giving body. She stressed that they were seated in a table that is almost in front of the stage.
The FAMAS social media manager who resigned claimed that Ms. Darren was no longer part of the program two (2) days before the event. According to him, Renz Spangler was the one who must be held accountable for what happened as he was the inviter and he allegedly did not confirm her attendance.
Recently, Ms. Eva Darren and her FAMAS inviter, Renz Spangler, joined an episode of the GMA-7 game show Family Feud.
