EVAN DARREN – The veteran actress is one of the awardees at the upcoming Gawad Dangal Filipino Awards 2024.
There are several film award-giving bodies in the Philippines. They hold star-studded events for the recognition of the great works and contributions of different people. One of the award-giving bodies in the country is the Gawad Dangal Filipino Awards.
The Gawad Dangal Filipino Awards holds an annual awarding event. This 2024, one of the awardees is veteran actress Eva Darren who was recently involved in an issue with the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences Awards or more popularly called FAMAS.
The FAMAS-Eva Darren issue stemmed when the veteran actress was invited to be a presenter at the Award’s Night. However, the event ended without the veteran actress being called on stage and just left with apologies.
According to the social media manager of FAMAS in his claims, the name of Miss Eva was removed from the final program two (2) days before the event as the person who invited her allegedly did not confirm her attendance to the event.
