Who among the 55 candidates are you rooting for?

The search for our next Miss Universe Philippines officially begins and it will start with 55 candidates which were officially introduced already. Last Sunday, the ladies who are competing in the pageant’s 2024 edition were shared with the public.

This year’s selection process was first to happen in its history as they are chose through the Accredited Partners Program. The accredited partners of the MUPH organization were able to select candidates from their own areas which could be through local pageants or appointments.

Another bend from the usual roles is that this year’s competition is the first edition without age restrictions for the candidates. Last 2023, mothers and wives were welcomed to join the pageant.

A lot of newbies joined this year’s pageant but among the familiar ones who are considered to be veterans already in this field are Victoria Velasquez Vincent (Miss Universe Philippines-Charity 2021), Kris Tiffany Janson (Miss Intercontinental 2014 2nd runner-up), Stacey Gabriel (Binibining Pilipinas 2022 2nd runner-up), Ahtisa Manalo (Miss International 2018 1st runner-up), and Christi McGarry (Miss Intercontinental 2015 1st runner-up).
