How Janice de Belen Feel About Working W/ Younger Co-stars Who Forget Their Lines
JANICE DE BELEN – Here’s how Janice de Belen feels about working with young actors who forget their lines.
Janice de Belen shared her approach to dealing with young artists who don’t know how to properly greet veteran actors they work with. According to Janice, she doesn’t have any issues if influencers and younger stars simply pass her by without greeting her. She mentioned in Ogie Diaz’s vlog on January 17, 2024, that she does the same to them.
“Dinadaanan ko din sila,” Janice said in reaction to the topic. “Actually, deadma ako sa ganyan. Ako, deadma. Ayaw niyo, ayaw ko din.”

Ogie’s interview also included Janice’s friends and co-stars in the movie Roadtrip, namely Gelli de Belen, Candy Pangilinan, and Carmina Villarroel.
Janice’s only warning is for these young artists not to make mistakes when filming scenes with her. According to the seasoned actress, “Huwag lang siya magkamali sa lines niya. Kailangan [pag] magkaeksena kayo, huwag kang magkamali…”
She was asked if she has worked with young stars who forget their lines during takes.
“Madami, dyusko…” Janice answered.
What she says to young stars who don’t know their lines is, “Ume-exit ako,” she quickly responds.
Janice tells the production team, “Dito muna ako, ha? Unahin niyo na muna iyan.’
“Or sasabihin ko sa AD [art director], ‘Tawagin ninyo ako pag memorized na niya [yung lines niya].’”
It depends on the attitude of the young star whether Janice will reprimand them or not.
She said, “Kung apologetic naman siya, doon ko na lang sa AD sasabihin.
“Ngayon, kung suplada pa siya, Lord, help me, give me more patience.”
Janice emphasized, “Ako, huwag lang magkamali. Kasi, di ba, tina-try mo naman sila tulungan as much as possible.”
Janice reportedly also dislikes co-stars who carry their cell phones in their pockets during takes.
